5. Portiva

Construction has begun on Portiva, a 260-unit complex that’s going in at A.C. Skinner Parkway and Salisbury Road, next to Dave & Buster’s. There are going to be eight four-story buildings. Landsouth Construction was issued the eight permits totaling $24 million. It is expected to be completed by November 2017.

6. Town Center Promenade Apartments

Core Property Capital is currently developing a 30-acre mixed-use project across the street from the St. Johns Town Center. Located between Town Center Parkway and Lake Meadowbrook, the Town Center Promenade will include 100,000 square feet of retail and dining space, a 150-key hotel and 335 apartment units. Core Property Capital’s multifamily development will be built in the center of Town Center Promenade among four buildings overlooking Lake Meadowbrook.
