5. Rue Saint-Marc 2103 San Marco Blvd
Brothers Matthew and David Medure of M Hospitality Group plan to open Rue Saint-Marc at the intersection of San Marco Boulevard and Hendricks Avenue in San Marco Square. Anticipated to open in 2017, the 150-seat restaurant will serve Southern American cuisine with a French flair, along with having a special focus on craft cocktails. Intended to be a simple, nice neighborhood hotspot, Rue Saint-Marc will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

6. Town Hall Restaurant 2012 San Marco Blvd
Now open and located in historic San Marco Square, Town Hall is the latest culinary venture from Chef Tom Gray and features California cuisine with a modern west coast vibe. With a menu inspired by fresh, layered flavors, using seasonal ingredients from local farms and artisan purveyors, the intimate 50-seat restaurant has quickly become a community spot for sharing good food and good drink in good company. In addition, guests can enjoy a selection of wines from around the world (also available for retail sale), creative wine cocktails, and Jacksonville’s finest local craft beers in Town Hall’s comfy lounge, bar or intimate dining room.
