19. Located just east of San Antonio River, the King William Historic District was initially platted between 1853 and 1859. The district was named after Wilhelm I, King of Prussia.

23. The original Lone Star Brewery opened in 1884 and was spearheaded by Adolphus Busch. Following prohibition, a modern brewery was constructed south of downtown and eventually re-branded as the Lone Star Brewing Company in 1940. The San Antonio brewery closed in 1996 after being acquired by Detroit-based Stroh Brewery Company.
