29. Hoptinger Bier Garden and Sausage House
Hoptinger Bier Garden and Sausage House will be investing $1 million to build-out a new restaurant and bar in Five Points at 1037 Park Street. The new restaurant is expected to open in 2016.

31. Bearded Buffalo Brewing Company
Construction continues on the Bearded Buffalo Brewing Company on King Street. When complete, the entertainment venue will offer craft beer, a broad liquor selection and food. The 99-seat restaurant/bar will be located at 1012 King St. between Burger King and Panda House.

Happy Grilled Cheese is opening a brick and mortar across the street in the original Cozy Tea space.

The Burlock & Barrel American Whiskey Distillery plans to open the city’s first licensed whiskey distillery to produce premium spirits by Winter 2016. The new distillery will be located at 2670 Rosselle Street #3.

35. South Kitchen and Spirits
Construction continues on South Kitchen and Spirits at 3638 Park Street. The new 250-seat, 8,071-square-foot restaurant is expected to be completed in September 2016.
36. Whit’s Frozen Custard
Whit’s Frozen Custard will be opening a new location in Avondale at 3545 St. Johns Avenue. The new eatery will be the Northeast Florida-based chain’s fourth. Other locations are in Jax Beach, Mandarin and Atlantic Beach.
37. Magnolia’s Pub
1198 South Edgewood Avenue will become the new location of Magnolia’s Pub. The family friendly restaurant serving waffle sandwiches, salads, dessert waffles, weekend brunch and pub fare was recently approved for a parking reduction and outside sales of beer, wine and liquor. The new restaurant is currently under construction and expected to open in August.

Construction on a new 3,150 square foot coin laundry building for Shin Lee, by The Noble Construction Group, Inc., is now underway at 1050 Edgewood Avenue in Murray Hill.
40. FLA Smoke Shop
FLA Smoke Shop will open a new 798-square-foot store in Murray Hill. The store will be located in Sleiman’s Edgewood Avenue Plaza at 921 Edgewood Avenue.
