Load King Manufacturing is in the process of making improvements to a historic warehouse at 548 Minnie Street.

61. Legacy 8 Town Homes

Habijax is in the process of building its first multi-family town home project in urban Jacksonville. A result of a $1 million grant by philanthropist Delores Barr Weaver, Legacy 8 Town Homes will consist of eight three and four bedroom units between 1,500 and 1,500 square feet. The project is located in New Town at the intersection of Acorn and Beaver Streets.

62. Myrtle Crab Shack

Myrtle Crab Shack will be opening soon at 1452 Myrtle Avenue North in Durkeeville. Recently tenant build-out permits were granted for the 2,600 square foot storefront.

63. Jacksonville Farmers Market

A significant facelift and customer accommodation project at the Jacksonville Farmers Market is nearing completion. Improvements include wider sidewalks, metal awnings and safety bollards along all building facades and handicap access improvements. In addition, the $560,000 project will add signage along the facade of building sheds, identifying the market’s growing list of tenants.

64. Payne Avenue Walk

Construction is underway at 1065 W. 11th Street for the development of Payne Avenue Walk. Adjacent to the S-Line Urban Greenway, the development will consist of 12 affordable single family structures.
