Take note of the “Macon’s Fading Five” sign in the front yard of the Bonnybrae-Bedgood House at 1073 Georgia Avenue. Macon’s Fading Five is a list of five endangered properties in Macon-Bibb County that Historic Macon publishes each year. The Bonnybrae-Bedgood House was on the list last year. Due to the awareness brought about by Macon’s Fading Five, this house was purchased and is in the process of restoration by a couple who currently live in North Macon.
