2. Springfield Lofts will be developed on properties surrounding the historic Drew Residence. Sited prominently on a corner of Third Street and Boulevard near Hogans Creek, this exotic residence was originally the home of Dr. Horace R. Drew, a physician and grandson of Jacksonville pioneer Columbus Drew. Dr. Horace Drew was the owner of downtown’s H. & W.B. Drew Company. H. & W.B. Drew’s printing operations were located on West Bay Street where the Independent Square building currently stands.
3. This warehouse, built in 1981, will be demolished and replaced with a 13,000-square-foot building with 15 residential units.
4. This dental office, built in 1961, will be demolished and replaced with a new 8,800 square foot building with 9 residential dwelling units.
5. This former Jacksonville Jewish Center building will be renovated into 34 residential units and 5,400-square-feet of ground floor commercial space.
6. A new mixed-use building will be constructed on the former location of the Jacksonville Jewish Center’s sanctuary. Located at the northwest corner of West 3rd and Silver Streets, it will contain 4 residential units above 2,600 square feet of retail.
7. This Jacksonville Jewish Center structure along Silver Street, built in 1927, will be converted into 16 apartment units.
