Founded by Dawn Curling and Angie Nixon in 2017, the Melanin Market's mission is to create a platform that highlights minority-owned businesses' products and services and provides a setting for fellowship with customers and the community. The Melanin Market also offers workshops and a series of community events, exhibits, and volunteer projects with their Eastside community leaders and partners.
