On December 21, the Downtown Investment Authority is expected to vote on the final approval of a site plan for the proposed Museum of Science & History’s relocation to the Jacksonville Shipyards. The $85 million project’s proposed location is a 6.8-acre site situated south of East Bay Street between Hogans Creek and A. Philip Randolph Boulevard. The 130,000-square-foot museum is expected to be completed by December 31, 2027.
