The real estate development firm Rise has started to rebuild an eight-story, 247-unit mixed-use apartment development at 960 East Adams Street in the Sports and Entertainment District. Called RISE Doro, the $80 million development will include a 284-space parking garage, 7,400 square feet of retail space and additional roof top amenities. Originally anticipated to be completed in late 2023, the project was destroyed by fire on January 28, 2024. Now set to receive $15 million in city incentives, 85 of the 247 units in the redeveloped project will be dedicated to workforce housing.
