A plan by Miami-based Related Group to construct a restaurant adjacent to Friendship Fountain appears to be moving forward. The development team is now seeking Conceptual Approval from the Downtown Development Review Board (DDRB) for the 3,500 square foot restaurant. The site is 3.43 acres and is bounded to the North by the St. Johns River to the East by MOSH and the Friendship Fountain to the South by Museum Circle and to the West by the St. Johns Marina Boat Ramp.
Designed by Kendall-based MSA Architects Architecture & Planning, the restaurant would be located adjacent to Related’s proposed River City Brewing redevelopment. The space would include a 914 square foot interior dining area and an expansive two level terrace accommodating outdoor dining.
