NAI Hallmark, a Jacksonville-based commercial real estate brokerage and property management firm, recently announced the sale of 300 West Adams Street for $2,550,000. NAI Hallmark Managing Partner Keith Goldfaden and Senior Vice President Daniel Burkhardt, SIOR, CCIM, MSRE, represented the seller, Hildebrandt Owner, LLC. The buyer, Urban Investments Group, purchased the Property for $2,550,000.
Urban Investments Group intends to invest $1 million on giving the building a major interior facelift. In addition, the developer plans to develop and convert the adjacent parking lot at West Adams and Pearl Streets into a residential tower. Known as the Hildebrandt Building, 300 West Adams Street was constructed between 1926 and 1927. The six-story building was developed by capitalist W.J. Hildebrandt, the brother-in-law of Robert Kloeppel, a hotelier who owned the long demolished George Washington Hotel across the street.
A few years ago, we had the opportunity to tour the 34,781-square-foot building while evaluating the need for new office space in downtown. Here are a few photographs of the building’s exterior, interior and basement level.
