Assuming that the downtown of a city is the most visible indicator of a community’s pride, Jacksonville is a city that has its work cut out for it when it comes to utilizing old buildings to embody the community’s past and current identity. One of the items of its bucket list should be the open discussion and designation of retail oriented streets where patrons can access a variety of businesses outside the standard 8am to 5pm weekday times. With this in mind, what downtown Jacksonville street(s) do you think would be great candidates for retail and dining clustering at street level?
