Before and After: Vestor's Lofts at the Cathedral

After recieving pushback on the design of a plan for its latest downtown project, Jacksonville based The Vestcor Companies is prepared to request conceptual design approval from the Downtown Development Review Board (DDRB) for a revised plan for the Lofts at the Cathedral.

Located at 325 and 327 East Duval Street, the Lofts at Cathedral is a mixed-income project that would include the renovation of the Cathedral District’s former YWCA Building and the construction of a five-floor multifamily structure. Combined, the $28.78 million project would add 120 apartment units to the neighborhood.

The most recent design appears to a significant modification of from the previous design submitted to the DDRB in November 2021.
