*39 East 56th Street was built in 1926 and owned by William Wade and Clementine Thompson. Born in Grand Cayman, West Indies, Thompson was employed in the real estate industry in 1926 and a yacht captain in 1930. *
34 East 56th Street was built in 1927 for Frank Benjamin and Marguerite Maull. From Crescent City, Maull was a parts manager and had one time been a Springfield mechanic for his father Edward N. Maull. His father Edward N. Maull was the inventor of the first orange sizing machine to be used in Florida and at the time of his death in 1937, several of his patents were still in use in packing houses.
39 East 59th Street was completed in 1926. Walter B. Henderson was an early resident.
43 East 59th Street was built in 1927 and once owned by George Doro.
67 East 59th Street was completed in 1926 for Raymond Sexton and Opal Blanton. The Blantons moved from Atlanta to Jacksonville. Raymond was the vice president of the Service Warehouse Company. The Blantons moved to Tampa during the Great Depression.
64 East 59th Street was built in 1925.
Panama Gardens is located just east of North Main Street, between East 56th and 63rd Streets.
