The Bill Brinton Murray Hill Branch Library at 918 Edgewood Avenue South.
The Murray Hill Theatre was designed by architect William Marshall and opened in 1949. On opening night guests paid fifty cents to see John Wayne and Montgomery Clift star in the classic Western film “Red River”. In 1994, it was an industrial goth club called The Dungeon. In 1995, it was purchased by Tony Nasrallah and converted into a Christian nightclub as a safe alternative to the bar and nightclub scene. In 2015, Vagabond Coffee opened in the previously-occupied Murray Hill Theatre Cafe.
